For the third consecutive year, Carnival Corporation has been honored as one of Forbes’ World’s Best Employers for 2023. The company was chosen from a pool of 700 international employers across 20 industries, all of whom were acknowledged for their commitment to creating a positive workplace atmosphere, promoting work-life balance, offering career advancement opportunities, and embracing employee diversity.
The recognition was a result of a survey conducted by Forbes and Statista, which involved over 170,000 employees from 55 countries, both part-time and full-time. Participants were asked to assess their employers anonymously, rating them on various criteria such as reputation, economic impact, talent development, gender equality, and social responsibility.
Additionally, employees had the opportunity to rate other companies within their industries and countries. As a result, only the top 700 companies, out of the thousands of organizations surveyed, were given the prestigious distinction of being named Forbes’ World’s Best Employers. Bettina Deynes, the global chief human resources officer for Carnival Corporation, expressed the company’s dedication to fostering an environment where individuals from diverse backgrounds, experiences, and walks of life can thrive.
Deynes emphasized the importance of the company’s talented global team, consisting of both shipboard and shoreside employees, who are at the core of Carnival Corporation’s operations:
“We take great pride in fostering a positive work environment and implementing programs that support the professional growth of our team members. It is with great gratitude that we accept Forbes’ acknowledgment of our ongoing dedication to becoming the preferred employer for those pursuing careers in the hospitality, travel, and leisure industries.”
Carnival Corporation is privileged to have a diverse workforce of over 160,000 individuals from 150 different countries.
